Maria holds a Bachelor of Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF). In addition to her training in nutrition related fields, she has formal education in management of nutrition associated diseases, public health nutrition and clinical nutrition. She trained in community health programs, health and nutrition studies.

Maria has a good clinical knowledge and counseling as she has attended several seminars, workshops and trainings on the various areas of nutrition, especially on nutrition assessment, meal planning and client counseling. She’s practicing more efficiently because she is eager to learn.

Maria’s professional development and intensive clinical training began during her internship at Mayo Hospital Lahore, one of the major tertiary care institutions in Pakistan, where she encountered clinical nutrition in various hospital wards. Her duties included evaluating the state of nutrition of patients, design therapeutic meal plans, examine nutritional status of patients and communicating with the hospital’s health care teams to describe the benefits therapeutic nutrition.

Maria’s next clinical internship was with Mujahid Hospital Faisalabad. The internship allowed her to use her academic knowledge in her clinical practice to provide specialized clinical nutrition support. Nutrition related MNT, nutrition exams, dietetic prescriptions and follow up for nutrition needs was delayed.

Professional Focus and Expertise

  • MNT- Medical Nutrition Therapy:

Maria designs customize meal plans that meets the needs or requirements of disease and illness and that plans also capable to prevent and manage the diseases, also she conducts encyclopedic nutritional assessments to examine health problems and eating practices. This practice supports her to design diet plans as per needs or requirements.

  • Weight Loss Management:

Maria holds expertise in weight management , she helps her clients to change their life style with healthy and easy pattern. She believes that urgency and shorts will not give you a healthy weight and long term results. She customize sustainable nutritional diet plans which fulfills the client’s requirements and meets the nutritional goals of clients.

  • Diabetes Management through Nutrition:

 Maria coaches her clients to see diabetes management as mainly a nutrition issue, and specifically how different meal choices affect blood glucose levels. She also provides long-term diabetes treatment, including carbohydrate education, food prep and life coaching.

  • PCOS Nutrition Counseling:

 PCOS/PCOS Nutrition Counseling is provided in a specialized framework for individual symptoms of each PCOS client, as well as their health goals. She relay on comprehensive methods like lifestyle modification and adaptation of healthy options to make her clients get better results and these approaches also helps to maintain their health and metabolism.

  • NG -Nasogastric Feeding:

Maria has great experience with NG feeding and Specialized Therapeutic Enteral Nutrition. She is the one who provides the patient with nutrition to get well.

Maria believes in public health and public education. Along with her practice, she channels her passion for nutrition and preventative health into health projects. Her projects include

She has made efforts to educate women to understand the importance of early diagnosis of breast cancer through self-inspection.
